The Adventure Begins

Every journey begins with something real.
An object, a feeling, a memory, a moment quietly lived.

A Beginning Rooted in the Real

Every journey begins with something real.
An object, a feeling, a memory, a moment quietly lived. Inspiration is not something distant or abstract; it grows from what has already been experienced. It is found in the present, in what surrounds us, and in what we choose to notice.

It is from this reality that creation takes shape. Not as an escape, but as a way of giving meaning to what already exists.

Between Inspiration and Imagination

Inspiration and imagination are closely connected.
Inspiration is often grounded in reality, while imagination transforms it. It reshapes what is known, sometimes consciously, sometimes instinctively, and leads it elsewhere.

Together, they form a personal creative language. One that evolves over time, shaped by experience, emotion, and intuition. This space between the real and the imagined is where creativity finds its rhythm.

A Personal Way of Learning

This journey does not follow a traditional artistic path.
It is guided instead by observation, experimentation, and time. Learning happens by watching others, by trying, by making mistakes, and by allowing growth to unfold naturally.

There is no rush, no fixed destination. What matters is the process, the curiosity, and the freedom to grow at one’s own pace.

Finding Beauty in Small Things

Beauty does not always announce itself loudly.
It often lives in small details: a line of poetry, a landscape, a simple drawing, an everyday moment. Sensitivity and emotion become ways of seeing, of connecting, and of finding meaning where it might otherwise go unnoticed.

This attention to the subtle and the quiet shapes the way creation unfolds within Misju.

Giving Objects a Second Life

Creation also takes the form of revaluation.
Objects from the past carry stories, traces of life, and a quiet poetry. Giving them a second life is both a creative and ecological gesture. It is a way of honoring what already exists while allowing it to continue its journey.

Reuse becomes part of the creative act, where usefulness and meaning meet.

An Invitation to Walk Alongside

This space was created as an open journey.
A place to share experiences, ideas, objects, and moments. A place to learn while moving forward, and to grow through exchange and presence.

If you choose to walk alongside this path, in your own way and at your own rhythm, your presence becomes part of its quiet evolution.

The adventure begins here.

  • A Moment by the Lake
An Encounter in Ascona That day, Ascona seemed bathed in a particular light. The lake reflected the sky effortlessly, the warmth was gentle, and time, almost imperceptibly, had slowed down. From my hotel window, I saw her. She was sitting by the water. Still. Present.A simple presence, almost quiet, naturally woven into the landscape. Hours passed. She was still there, as if the sun and the lake had quietly claimed her. Curiosity eventually led me outside. Franca by the lake, Ascona Seated facing the water, she was drawing. Without intention. Without display. She was not trying to show or explain anything. She drew slowly, attentively, letting her hand follow what her eyes felt. Each line seemed to emerge from time itself. We exchanged a few words. She told me she was retired. That she had come to Ascona simply because there was sun. She spoke about drawing with a touching humility, almost softly, as if it were something fragile. She had never studied art. Claimed no particular knowledge. Only the pleasure of sitting, observing, and letting time pass onto paper. Sometimes, she told me, she joins a small group that meets to draw together. Nothing formal. Just people, pencils, and shared moments. She smiled and added that I would be welcome to join them one day, if I wished. The artist’s drawings can be discovered on Instagram: @francabendig As I walked away from the lake, I felt a quiet, lingering warmth within me. Because art does not always need ambition or recognition. Sometimes, it exists simply like this in the softness of a sunny afternoon, in the patience of a hand, in the simple decision to sit by the water and look. That day, by the lake, I understood that a single encounter can be enough.A shared moment. And perhaps, the purest form of art.
